The most popular way to make money online through blogging is Affiliate Marketing. Affiliate Marketing, widely known internationally, is also called the distribution alliance program or affiliate marketing. It works by earning sales commissions through recommending products to visitors.
This income channel generates passive revenue even while you sleep. Many bloggers, especially English-language bloggers, have achieved financial independence and freedom through Affiliate Marketing. Top bloggers can earn hundreds of dollars a day, with some even building their own teams.
If you’re also interested in creating your own blog and aiming for a six-figure income annually, keep reading.

Here, I’ve compiled a list of international affiliate programs across various fields, including web hosting, website building tools, VPNs, travel, finance, beauty, fitness, as well as sports, music, and video.
If you haven’t started making money through Affiliate Marketing, I recommend using the WordPress platform. You can refer to my list of the Top 10 Hosting Providers to set up your Affiliate site.
Alternatively, you can directly create your WordPress site with Bluehost for as little as $3.99 per month. After purchase, it installs with a single click, and you can skip registration formalities with an international server, completing setup in half an hour.
The key to recommending an Affiliate product is being well-versed in it. Don’t just focus on commission rates; ensure that the product you recommend is useful to your audience and among the best in its category.
Top Global Affiliate Marketing Networks
If you want to join affiliate marketing, it’s best to start with large affiliate marketing networks. These networks are essentially marketplaces where various merchants place their Affiliate products, covering a wide range of categories, allowing you to choose the best fit for your audience. My main income currently comes from these networks.
1. Shareasale

Shareasale is a large Affiliate marketing network with over 25,000 merchants and 270,000 affiliates. Founded in 2000, it is a pioneer and leader in the Affiliate industry. They offer a range of categories, including fashion, home and garden, food, B2B, web hosting, photography, and more.
You can search and review the commission rates of various merchants. Generally, ShareAsale offers competitive commissions, and many affiliates have earned significantly from it. The minimum withdrawal amount is USD 50, supporting direct deposits and Payoneer.
If you are new to affiliate marketing, I recommend joining Shareasale. It has a low entry threshold, requiring only a website or a social media account with a certain following. It’s suitable for both beginners and experts. Shareasale accounts for a significant portion of my affiliate income, and I highly recommend registering.
For a detailed guide and registration, check out the ShareASale tutorial and guide.
If you’re a merchant, you can also join Shareasale. Merchant fees are not high, requiring a one-time entry fee of $625 plus a 20% commission on each transaction (not 20% of the transaction amount) to the platform. Click merchant registration link to join the platform.
2. FlexOffers

FlexOffers is one of the world’s largest and most diversified affiliate networks. Website owners can earn profits by promoting products through blogs, social media, and more.
Their platform hosts merchants across almost all niche markets, featuring over 10,000 merchants and 25 different categories, including automotive, consumer electronics, fashion and accessories, education, digital products, energy, and telecommunications. There are millions of Affiliate links for bloggers to choose from.
One major benefit of this platform is its low entry requirements, where traffic on your website or social account qualifies you for membership, and approval rates are relatively high. However, the commission rate is lower than other platforms, as many of its merchants come through secondary conversions from other platforms, resulting in lower commissions.
For U.S.-based affiliates, payments can be received via check or direct transfer, while affiliates outside the U.S. are paid via PayPal and wire transfers.
This platform is one of my main income sources, bringing in around $1,000 monthly, and I highly recommend it to friends interested in affiliate marketing internationally.
3. Awin

Awin is one of the largest and most well-known affiliate networks, with 25,000 advertisers and over 200,000 content publishers. Awin was established in Germany, so its advertisers include many well-known European companies, as well as major advertisers from the U.S. and other countries worldwide.
I am also one of the content publishers on Awin and earn a significant amount of commission from this platform each year. Applying for an account is simple; you only need an independent website with some traffic or a social media account.
After that, you need to apply separately to each merchant to promote their products. Once approved, you can start generating links to place on your website or social media platforms. If users click on the link and make a purchase, you will earn a commission.
A wide range of products can be promoted, covering nearly all categories, including digital and physical products. The minimum payout threshold is $20, with payouts on the 1st and 15th of each month. The average commission rate is around 5%, but this may vary depending on the advertiser. You can receive payments via wire transfer or Payoneer. For more details on how to register and use Payoneer, check out our tutorial.
If you have trouble finding the application page, click on this link and then click the “Join our network” button to apply for an account.
3. Skimlinks

</div>
<p><a href=)
Unlike other affiliate networks, once your site is approved, you can establish affiliate relationships with over 48,500 merchants (most networks require you to apply to each merchant individually before using their affiliate links). On this platform, you can promote all available products and services from merchants.
Additionally, it has an impressive technology: if you are promoting via your website, you only need to insert their code (similar to inserting Google ads in the body section), and all natural links on your site to their merchants will automatically convert to affiliate links without affecting your original affiliate links. When users hover over these links, they look like normal links, but upon clicking, they become affiliate links. If a user makes a purchase, you will earn a commission (75% goes to the website, 25% to the platform).
I am currently using this platform, and it’s very simple and convenient; no need to generate links one by one. The platform generates around $2.5 million in sales daily.
4. Linkbux

</div>
<p><a href=)
It currently has over 58,000 merchants, covering business areas such as apparel, shoes & bags, home & garden, beauty & fitness, consumer electronics, and outdoor & sports. Its merchants come from different countries, mainly including the United States, the UK, Germany, France, Australia, Taiwan, Canada, Brazil, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, and Japan. You can promote products to people in various countries and regions.
Payments are made on the 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th of each month. You can request withdrawals twice a month. However, the payment cycle is about three months, meaning you will receive the commission approximately three months after generating a conversion. Payments can be made via bank transfer or PayPal.
However, one drawback is the relatively low commission rates, as many of its offers are conversions from other platforms.
5. AMAZON ASSOCIATES
Amazon Affiliate is perhaps the most well-known affiliate network. To register, you must have a website or blog to get approved. You can earn up to 10% commission from their vast product selection of over a million items.
You can place links or banners on your website, and when visitors click and make a purchase, you earn a commission. Although they are not a network per se, they offer a wide range of products.

CJ (formerly known as Commission Junction) is a 20-year-old affiliate marketing network, handling $15 billion in annual sales through its platform. Joining CJ is a good choice for beginners in online earning.

On the publisher side, they work with major brands like CNN, Time, Digg, and Buzzfeed.
However, some merchants on CJ can be selective, and many may reject your application to join their programs. If your content is incompatible or of low quality, you may be rejected by many merchants.
7. RAKUTEN LINKSHARE
Rakuten (formerly known as LinkShare) is a well-known affiliate marketing network that started in 1996, with a smaller scale than CJ.

About Affiliate Marketing Programs
How to Join an Affiliate Marketing Program?
There are mainly two types of affiliates: self-operated affiliate programs and large affiliate networks.
Self-operated affiliate marketing refers to the affiliate programs of product websites themselves. Generally, you can find them by searching the website name + “Affiliate,” or you may find it at the top or bottom of the website, usually labeled as “Affiliate.” Click in and fill out the application form to apply.
The other type is the large affiliate networks I mentioned above.
Before applying, it’s best to have a well-established website, as this makes it easier to get approved. For more information on how to build a website, please check my article How to Create a Website and Blog.
What are the Requirements to Join an Affiliate Program?
To join an affiliate program, you first need a website and a payment method, such as a PayPal account or bank account. While you can also become an affiliate without a website by adding links on social media, this requires a high number of followers and can be quite challenging. Therefore, I recommend starting with a website.
Your website should be well-designed, ideally with more than 10 pieces of content, have an SSL certificate for HTTPS, have a reachable email account, and set up a PayPal account.
What Factors Should You Consider When Choosing an Affiliate?
First, consider the commission rate and average order value (AOV). High commission x high average order value = more affiliate income.
Next, check the cookie duration and earnings per click (EPC).
Affiliate Marketing Tips
Before starting affiliate marketing, not only should you focus on the three factors mentioned above, but also consider the following points:
1. Promote products that you like and understand deeply.
Do not promote products that are not helpful; promote products that solve users’ problems and that you genuinely like. You must have a passion for your industry and be committed for the long term to reap rewards.
2. Continuously discover new affiliate opportunities.
Currently, fashion products are the most popular category in affiliate marketing, accounting for 18.7%, followed by sports, health, and wellness.
Emerging projects include virtual reality (VR), the Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing, wearable technology, and drones.
Dating and friendship websites also perform well in affiliate marketing. The number of dating sites and apps has increased more than ever, leading to intense competition. Dating websites are leveraging affiliate marketing to promote their platforms and attract more users.
3. Before engaging in affiliate marketing, make sure to research whether your market is large enough.
Check if there are enough potential users in your field and whether there are sufficient affiliate programs to promote. If there are few affiliates in this field, it may indicate that the field lacks appeal or profitability, so consider expanding into related areas.
Conclusion
Regardless of which affiliate program you want to join, you can earn substantial profits if you put in the effort.
First, when selecting an affiliate, check the commission rate, average order value (AOV), earnings per click (EPC), and cookie duration.
Next, verify whether the affiliate offers lifetime commissions or one-time commissions.
Finally, choose a niche that aligns with your interests, and then you can promote enthusiastically.
The affiliate market is growing rapidly, with limitless opportunities.
However, the first step is to build your website on WordPress. I recommend starting with Bluehost, available for just $3.95 per month.
